Poor Man's Esox Magnum.... I own a 15.5 foot Alumacraft welded hull semi-V jon boat, and love it for what I do with it. I have a 25hp four stroke yamaha on it.

My buddy has a 18 footer and it offers a much smoother ride than the traditional flat bottoms, the thing is unbelievabley stable.... two guys standing up casting and it doesn't move.

I would think if you fish smaller lakes, rivers, flowages, and are a bit handy(you can make your own interior boxes, carpet, etc) that you could put a nice package together for a very attractive price.
