Sounds like it may be the relay to me. I had a similar problem and that is what it was. And honestly, I think you can do this repair yourself without taking it in. They just un-plug and plug in and they are relatively inexpensive. What you can try is to switch one of the relays from the up side to the down side and see if that works. That way you can eliminate the ram as the problem and figure it is a bad relay.
