I ran an Esox Magnum for 2 1/2 years with the Maxima trolling motor on it. The motor will fit fine on the front deck and also the foot pedal fits fine. Do not use the rubber expandable inserts to mount the motor. You will be tightening them constantly....I did! The opening in the bow panel is somewhat small to get into. We had to use a "Sawsall" to make the opening a little bigger and then have a person with a small arm hold a self locking nut inside.
If you are ordering a new boat, send the mount to the factory and they will mount it for you when building the boat? |
