I did the same thing with my Esox Deep V. Had to go in through the trolling motor panel. Actually, Cabela's sells Trolling Motor Isolator Bolts. You drill a slighly larger hole drop the TMIB's in from the top and then put the screws down from the top. The nut is part of the TMIB and tightens the rubber into the hole. They keep the vibrations back to the fiberglass at a minimum and they also keep the trolling motor mounts from rubbing on the fiberglass. I'll be upgrading mine before next year. Trying to reach all the way to the end through that little access panel pretty much sucks.

Or just tell Van Lieshout to do it for you.
