hey all you boat guys, did any one ever tackle a deck boat conversion for fishing? i got a 1600 s.s. viking with a center console on it and first thing i need to do is put in a new floor. the boat has side storage for life jackets and such and plano 3700's will fit in there.. this model has that crazy tinted plastic around the top of the bow with that railing and was thinking of taking that off to mount a trolling motor like the other post . any help would be apreciated..karol..mom said she would recover the seats for me and i was thinking of making some removable decks for casting.. would presure treated work ok for this and how thick? thanks
