The water proof glue is what is most important in marine grade plywood.If you only coated one side of regular plywood with resin, it would most certainly delaminate from moisture attacking the other side.For wood to be sealed in resin, it must be dipped, fully coated on all sides or glassed into the floor or sides to be encapsulated and protected from moisture.
