Location: Athens, Ohio		www.bassboatcentral.com has some good Merc men on their site, you might try your post there, too.
I was advised by my mech to always run fuel stabilizer in the gas, said these new gasolines break down way too quick to be without it unless you go thru a tank a week. I can't help ya more than that. Good luck with this one, m
