| Seals are on the trailer side of the hub. The are press fit into the hub, and provide the seal to the spindle. I always replace the seals when I pack my bearings. Even with my new trailer, I pack every year, and replace the seals. Get the double lip/heavy duty seals. You can get seal removal/replacement tools at Sears. I just pry out with a big screwdriver, and tap the new seals in place with a hammer.
Also, Jason, I'm not so sore you want to fill the hubs full of oil. Therefore, getting all the air out is not an issue. Seems to me, all the new Ranger trailers I look at have the level a bit over half in the window. I will check with Frank, the Ranger Tourney Trailer guy.
