I don't think you would really gain much with an Optima for cranking, deep cycle yes.



Optima has a deepcycle/crank combo. Since my bow sonar is run off the cranking batter along with several other accessories I was thinking it would be better than cycling a pure cranking battery.

Maybe I'm wrong.
