thanks for the replies, the X15 is wired into the starter battery, which is also the same battery that feeds the accessory panel I believe. I would hate to wire the unit to one of the trolling batteries for interference reasons and also the chance that I would run them dead and be out of a depthfinder and gps. Any other options? maybe some sort of surge protector or filter? The only other thing I can think of is to try to mount another battery and run just the kicker and fishfinder off of it.
If I would wire it to the fuse block it would do the same thing since the fuse block is on the same battery correct? Thanks for any help.
