Hey guys, I have 2 questions I need help with. 1st, when starting my big motor (Yamaha F115) my x15 goes out and then comes back on, doesn't happen when starting the kicker. This can't be good for the electronics. Any thoughts? I really don't want to run the electronics off of the trolling batteries unless I have to.
2nd, I have 2 trolling motor batteries hooked up to a 2 bank charger, but only 1 of them runs the trolling motor(12v). The other one is hooked up to the downriggers, marine radio, and something else I haven't figured out yet. I would like to rig this one of 2 ways, either on a switch so I can run the trolling motor from either battery, or in parallel so it is running off of both batteries. I don't know which is better. If I rig them in parallel will that affect the way the charger works? Thanks for any opinions.
Scott
