I have a good friend who bought a new G3 boat last fall- 18.5 feet, 110 Yamaha 4 stroke.
He has been in it only 3x. Took it back to the dealer after it wouldn't get up to plane and topped out at about 33mph. He's telling me the dealer says there's a problem with the hull of his boat. Has a new one that's supposed to be coming soon. I've suggested more than a few times (getting tired of hearing him complain) that he demand the dealer substitute a similar Lund for the time he's waited/wasted for this boat to be done right. Lunds have a proven record of quality- I don't know about G3s. Does anyone know if this is a product wide problem among these boats (and obviously then a design flaw), or did he just get a lemon?
Thanks,
Don
