the warning horn sounds and I get a water temp. icon on my smartcraft. The water temp was 194degrees. According to the dealer where I got my boat and motor, my water pressure is fine. It is about 1.5-2 psi at idle. I wish mercury would list more specs in the manual. What is the hottest my motor should run. Even before the overheating problem began, the motor was running in the mid 170 degree range at trolling speed(3-4mph).That seems hot to me.
