Location: Slinger Wisconsin		I had a 1997 on my Ranger and it was a great motor. It was probably one of the smoothest motors I have ever owned. I did not notice any excessive gas consumption and it had great top and low end performance. As with any OMC product you have to use carbon guard. I also ran synthetic oil in mine.
