The problem with trolling with a big block is mostly speed; it's tough to get them idled down enough, and the prop is usually optimized for top end. The 150 Opti is a great engine, and will not 'blow' from trolling. It might do what any big block will do and 'load up' from time to time, but using the Opti Max oil will help assure that won't happen.
