| Well, in an effort to get my boat in top shape for the spring bite I decided to get all new batteries. I did my research on the batteries and got them delivered today. I bought new trays for the batteries and everything needed to really not have to worry about replacing the batteries for a few years. I even cleaned all the connections to ensure the highest operational efficiency. Well, in the process of taking the 2nd trolling motor battery out, using a plyers to loosen the nut, I arched the 2 batteries and about messed my pants. My question is, did I hurt anything when this happened? The only thing I have hooked up to the 24volt batteries are the trolling motor and the automatic charger. I checked the trolling motor and it SEEMS to work fine. And I plugged in the automatic charger and it appears to be charging the new batteries. Thanks in advance for you help.
