David's right about the primer and heat treating it would be a good idea if you don't use a hardener in the paint. Fleet Farm sells a line of polyurethane marine paint which I just used on part of my boat. Good stuff for about 15$ a quart. It thins easy to run through the sprayer and they sell the primer right alonside.
