dummy here!!! so maybe i can help. the way i understand it in plain dummy english, which is all i really understand. waas (Wide Area Augmentation System) is a satalite signal that your gps picks up that makes your waypoints more acurate. so if you buy a gps with waas capabilitys it basiclly increases your accuracy. verses a old gps unit before they were waas capable. if im wrong someone please enlighten me too!
