I will say this about buying trolling motors, get the Largest Pound Thrust you can afford, but don't get less then 36lbs mininum... 36 should pull a 14' boat no problem, but a 40 or 44 would pull even better, 55 even better then those... Most Minn Kota Power drives have a Maximizer feature which gives you real good speed control, its a slider switch that can get so slow you can almost count the blade rotations, all the way up to full power... |
