Plitzzz,

I do most of my Musky fishing in Vilas county. I really like Big Sand, Ballard and some of the small lakes in that area.

I talked to my buddy about the mounting of his trolling motor. He drilled his holes all the way through the block and the deck. He used very long bolts with washers and nuts. He could not get stainless bolts and nuts that long though. He took the panel out for the trolling motor plug and got his hand in there to put the nuts on and hold them. It's a two man operation.

We mounted the trolling motor on my Esox Magnum with bolts, washers and nuts too. We took that panel out and used a Sawsall to make the opening larger and then had a person with a small arm hold the nuts from the back side. If you use locking nuts you won't have to worry about it again. Hope this helps.
