When I didn't have them, you had to had to have the trailer in at the right depth...But even that, the strong crosswinds did not help. This is with a roller trailer. I got the guide on's and not one problem at all. I zoom in and out of any ramp while you see others struggling for a long time. If I go to a bunk trailer, no need there. Friend has a bunk and those slide right on.....
