| The one boat thats most recognized as a pure muskie boat is the Tuffy Esox and Esox Magnum. There are more of these boats on the northern WI Muskie waters than any other make or model. Although some are skeptical at first of the low profile, these boats are extremly stable even with a couple of guys standing on the same side. If you'd feel better with a V hull, this spring Tuffy brought out 8 new models of the Esox Deep V. With Tuffy's reputation of being the best riding rough water boat, these boats have taken off like crazy on the bigger waters, like northern MN. Although used Tuffy boats are harder to find than a 60" Muskie, either the Esox magnum or a 17 Deep V tiller can be had for under $20k. | |
