Its tuff to say, I used to have a camoflage 14 footer that had reeds stenciled on the side and bottom, I had so many fish back when I owned that boat that would hang out underneath after following a bait in, it was like they thought they were in some structure of some sort.
even site fishing, it seemed that if I came across a fish they wouldn't spook as easy,
now I have a 16' crestliner with a cream colored bottom, and it seems that fish spook a lot easier when they come up.
On the other hand my partner has a white bottomed boat and the fish don't seem to mind,
I think if a fish is hot it won't matter but if they take their time and check things out, thats when anything you do can spook'em, a lot of the time I don't think its the boat, rather the movement a guy does when you are trying to get one to go,
if you start jumping around like tarzan, chances are your partner will laugh at you when your fish swims away.
I hate muskies.
