Hey there, don't know if you ever got an answer on this, but I run a Yamaha 115 4-stroker, which has the same powerhead as your motor. Yamaha recommends the use of their own additive called ring free, which is a fuel stabilizer and carbon deposit preventor. I do follow the recomendations and use it with each fill up, but I do use stabil at the end of the season. Stabil is good stuff, but I don't think it has the carbon preventing characteristics of the ring free. There is another product that has gotton great reviews on other websites called Seafoam, and it is supposedly available at Napa. It is the same type of additive for half the price of ring free. People are saying that the black streaks inside your prop will even disappear with the use of Seafoam, so I may try that instead of the pricey ring free.

Good luck

Dave
