I have been running Car Quest Gold Series 31 batteries for the last 2 years. So far I have been very impressed with the running time on the trolling motor using these batteries.

If your batteries have access to the cells, check the water level often. Even the low/no maintanence batteries need to be checked if they have cell caps. I think low water in the batery is a very common problem that sometimes doesn't get the attention it deserves.
