I have a 17' Tuffy esox deep v tiller and love it. Prior to that i had an 18' nitro dual console. My tiller has much more room to fish out of than the nitro did. Due to the size of the boats i was looking at, a tiller was the better choice in my opinion. If i was looking at a near 20' boat or so, you would still have alot of room with a console
