I am not sold on this motor. When was the last car that was equiped with a supercharged and intecooler dependable, reliable and not in for repair all the time? Outboards run at such high RPM's compared to car engines. My next motor will be a 4 stroke. Too many issues with the opti's, fichts and other DFI motors. I will keep an eye on the new E-tec. I have read much about them in bass and walleye. Beware of initial reports on these motors because most of the reports are coming from Mercury sponsored guides/professionals. The opti's and fichts had so much hype in the late 90's and most of the recreational fisherman purchased these engines only to have issue after issue.
