Wife and I took a ride to Worrall's Hideout and got a look at the rig this morning. For a boat of this size I am very impressed with the new layout changes. The front deck is like a dancefloor and there is more than adequate storage in the bow compartments. The rod locker is too sweet... 8 footers in the top row and 7'6"ers in the middle no problem... There were ideas shared and incorporated from various current and former Tuffy owners and the factory did an excellent job with the engineering on this boat. Can't wait to see what the new 2060 will look like ?...Stay tuned Muskiefriends the unveiling is coming soon..:)

I haven't seen the new deck extension yet but on the ride home I came up with a few prototype ideas in my little head "if" there is a need to input any revisions. From what Steve told me the deck extension is approximately as wide as one of the Lakewoods boxes pictured below. If you look at the picture with the boxes stacked 2-deep you should be able to see that there is enough room with the deck extension to still place a Lakewoods box behind each seat and still have enough floor room for the anglers to get out of their seats and be able to stand/step with adequate room to mount the front and/or rear deck. For reference the Lakewoods boxes pictured are the "Musky Medium" box 10.5"w x 14"h x 18.5"L.

No doubt this will become the boat of choice for those who are looking for a very muskie friendly mulit-species combination boat in the 17-18 foot model range. Exceptional for 2 anglers, comfortable for 3, and workable for 4 if needed. 1760 hull offers great performance and is capable of safely handling big water while still being user friendly for those "less than desireable" launches on the smaller 2-300 acre lakes.

A high quality glass boat just became an achievable dream for those who couldn't think they could afford it. Predatory perfomance on the prowl once again..:)

Here are some pictures of my Lakewoods boxes in two different postions behind the seats. My Frabill Big Kahuna fit nicely along side the passenger seat and the inner gunnel. I'm confident Frabill's Big Game model would lay flat on the floor between the seat pedistals.
