| Steve, I had talked to you re: Matrix 67 gps problem , from the troubleshooting reps at the hotline they told me that when the unit was released this year the gps card in the unit was designed for the Navionics chip XL and not the GOLD XL 3 which Navionics released without telling Humminbird about the difference between the two chips, anyway all the unit needs is the free software upgrade from Humminbird .com and will solve the screen refresh problem with any of the Matrix units new this year, so dont put your fist thru the unit like I almost did when I got brutally lost on Georgian Bay last week, the software upgrade is free and you have to buy the pc connect cable part # ASPC 2 just some info for you guys at my expense | |
