Are Liqua-lubes worth it? I'll only say this. My KD Launcher has pulled my Tuffy Esox Mag with a 135hp Merc since 1996. That's eight years worth of hauling 2,500+lbs of boat, gas and equip 14 times to Canada, plus thousands of miles of travel in Wisconsin and Minnesota. It's funny you wrote today as you did, but today I received new oil and seals from Liqui-lube.com as preventive maintenance protection against worries about bearing failures you described. Unless you trailer your Dad's bare-boned 14ft aluminum boat, you're hauling a ticking bomb that's only asking for trouble. $99 and you'll leave your worries behind.. Keep asking for comments and I'm sure you'll hear the same as mine.
