I've got a 150 Evinrude Ficht. The motor runs very well. My only gripe is that it has had a problem leaking oil down the transom mount. The factory claimed that it was residual oil and was normal. I could prevent it by not tilting the motor all the way up. Wrong answer!

Eventually they replaced the air box that leaked the oil and that was supposed to correct the problem. It didn't. After much to-do, I just got it back from the shop where a lift pump was replaced due to a bad diaphram. That will supposedly fix the problem according to the factory, but the mechanic isn't convinced yet. Everything has been covered by warranty, it is just annoying when you spend that kind of money on an outboard.

I'll have it out this weekend and the entire week of Labor Day, so it will get good use.

Other than that very annoying problem, it's been a reliable motor. Starts easy and runs strong.
