I have a old heavy Stratos 201 on a tandem trailer and will be putting 4 electric drum brakes on it.

I am wondering which tires are the best for longevity and stopping with the new brakes. The axles are 3000 pounders. I was running Carlisles and they didn't seem to last??? I will be getting the axles aligned too. That might have been my problem.

I know the new Rangers come with Goodyears, but I haven't seen them last very long on vehicles... you know good for a year hehehe

Thanks for any help in advance.
