Location: Ogden, Ut		We had a Coleman Scanoe at work that we pushed just fine w/ a 36 lb thrust MinnKota. Granted, we weren't breaking any speed records and it's use was limited to places we couldn't get a boat. I don't know how much more a canoe like yours would weigh, but I think 50 lbs. of thrust should be more than enough.
