I'm in the same - sorry - boat, where I'm not particularly mechanically inclined; so I take my boat and trailer to my favorite auto repair shop each year and have the old bearing grease removed and have new grease and seals installed. They inspect the bearings for wear, check out the brakes, and make needed repairs. Runs me less than fifty bucks but well worth the piece of mind. I'd rather do that than risk a lot on my own (in-)ability. good luck, m
