The little 1000 watt Honda Generators are awesome. Quiet and fuel efficient 4 srtokes. We ran them up in Quebec where we were hundreds of miles from an outlet. Charged a couple of boats off each one. Fired them up and let them run out of gas sometime in the night. They don't give them away, I was using somone elses. I think new they are about $600-$700, and I don't think they get way cheaper used either. Don't forget to bring your battery charger if the boat doesn't have one built in.
