I know a lot of guys struggle with porposing on the tiller Esox Magnums. I've found that a Solas Amita 4 in the 13 1/4"D x 13" P gives me lots of trim to work with. It's not the fastest top end, (31 mph) but the holeshot and ability to hold on plane down to about 14 mph is what works for me. No need to trim down to get that good holeshot either. I don't know what my RPM' s are at wot, I don't have a tach but I don't doubt that a guy could step up to a 15" pitch to gain a little speed if wanted and still control porposing with a decent holeshot. I never run wot anyway and this combo works perfect cruising at 23-25 mph which is where run it. Hope this helps someone.
