I use the live well as an ice well when 'skillet' fishing. Two bags of ice and bleed the fish before putting them on ice. I think the fish just taste better when handled in this manner. In regards to suckers; We do some sucker fishing in November and I use a large insulated cooler with an aerator. When not in use it typically holds a walleye bump board, a sucker net and trolling boards.
