| Sounds stupid to say this but make sure you have your spare tire. And, double check to make sure you have a lug wrench that fits the nuts and a jack that will work on the trailer.
In my line of work you'd be surprised at the number of people who travel 2, 3, 4 hours or more with none of the above.
If you think I'm kidding, while you are driving up some time count the number of boats sitting on a jack with a wheel missing. Then multiply that by 10 for the nubmer towed away already.
