Option 2 is best by far.  More efficient.  If concerned re size, 2 50AH may be worth looking at. The chargter as you mention, is the wild card.  I'm in the same boat, and purchased a spare 24v charger for mine.  Do the monsters come with bluetooth?  Love that about the Ionic.[/QUOTE]
