Location: 31		I would prefer carpet over the Ranger rubber floor ~ mainly because it's hugely uncomfortable while working under the dash, or kneeling on it while rooting around in a compartment or whatever.

When/if the carpet wears out I would just replace ~. good idea checking the carpet with a hook.
