| I have read that in certain engines, super charged or turbo charged, E-85 can actually increase power because it reduces combustion temps. My Honda is turbo charged, but the turbo does not kick in all that often, so I would not get a real benefit and would likely have mileage penalty. The estimates for that penalty are quite varied. Popular Mechanics had a story where the author said they only time he bought was when driving a flex fuel rental car, he filled up with E-85 right before returning the car. | |
