I'll take offense to the Hyundai/Marcades comment! hehehe

Actually, you are doing yourself a great service by looking at other makes and types of boats. The more you look at, the more you will learn what you like. The Lund Pike 18 is a nice boat, lotsa room, rides decent, is plenty fast, good storage, seats 4 comfortably(family thing)and very fishable. I like my 1700 Angler SS over the Pike 17 because I don't like the vertical rod storage, and the wide gunnels on the Pike and ProV models. But, if you do mostly trolling, that maybe isn't so big a deal. Pike 18 is also way more affordable than the 617 Ranger, although I have seen a couple new prior year boats for reasonable. Have fun shopping!
