If you aren't concerned about the $$, the Ulterra with auto deploy might be the way to go if you don't want to wrestle with it. I would go 60" shaft as well. Hard to imagine wanting a shorter shaft on the trolling motor on a deep V hull. Also, go with the max thrust you can afford. You'll never wish you had less trolling motor power...
