be sure when you're buying a boat that is under powered that you buy the engine with the biggest cubic inches in its class. displacement makes a lot of difference. When I fished power plant lakes with 25 hp limits, we never saw yamaha or honda motors on the lake. Suzuki used to be king of cubic inches and torque with their 3 cylinder df25 until the etec came around.
