Subject: Ranger/EZ Step issue

In late Fall 2019 one of my EZ Steps broke off my 2015 Ranger trailer while my friend was stepping on it, we were fortunate that the only injury was a deeply skinned shin after he slammed into the lower step in the dark. It certainly could have been a lot worse, even tragic.

When I contacted EZ Step about a possible warranty replacement they refused, and I decided to just repair it myself rather than order a whole new system. I noticed the faulty EZ Step design has since been changed on their website, so the newer models should be okay.
