Agree the My Wedge stabilizing clips can be a bit of a pain. However, if 1 clips is tight, the other is always loose, just remove the loose 1 and turn the steering wheel... try not to lift them off at an angle too.

I had issues with the My Wedge white outside plastic casing spitting and began using 2 wedges for more support instead of the recommended 1 a few years ago, resolved that issue.

I really like the convenience of easily just keeping them in the boat while fishing.
