I use this thing. Swivl-Eze Lock'N Stow Motor Stabilizer. Supports the engine, and keeps the motor from turning. Easy on and off, too.

Before that, I used a wedge and had some clips that went on the side of the motor to keep it from turning. The clips were a pain to take on and off, so I went Swivl-Eze. Very happy with it.
