I've got a new 1775 Impact on order with the Merc 115 Pro on it. I rode in this boat on big water with a four stroke 90 hp on it. The boat was O K in flat water but Struggled in 2 to 3 ft waves with three guys. The same boat with the 115 Merc Pro had no problem with 3 to 4 ft waves. I guess it depends where you will run it.Good Luck!
