It’ll work running to a standard 12 volt deep cycle boat battery with banana clips.

I run a lithium battery the size of an ice fishing battery and it’ll last all day. Regular non lithium flasher batteries will usually only last 3-4 hours if running gps. I installed the clips that come on flashers on the wire ends. I primarily bought that battery for my ice fishing flasher to cut down on the weight but it’s been nice for summer applications.
