Question. Does anybody run helper springs like Sumo on their trailers? My current boat a Lund 1775 Prov and Trailmaster trailer they are 2016s produced late 15 so have used 4 years. My concern is my last boat /same boat and trailer 2007 model broke a leaf spring in 2011 at 70 mph, I almost crashed I didn't abuse trailer on rough roads although when spring broke I hit a construction old to new pavement with a pretty big dip! I have been worried ever since that experience!! Kinda thinking of these springs as backup if this were to ever happen again. I carry an extra set of leafs n u bolts since then. Any and all opinions would be appreciated!
Thanks!!
